Don’t let your emotions hijack your intelligence.

My mum always said that as a kid, I wore my heart on my sleeve, and making sure I don't do that as an adult is an ongoing challenge.

Allowing emotions to hijack your intelligence can cloud your judgment and lead to impulsive decisions that may not align with your long-term goals or values. Easier said than done(!), but by controlling your heart, you maintain the clarity and composure needed to assess situations rationally, ensuring that your decisions are grounded in your knowledge rather than an emotive reaction. It seems to me that finding this balance is important for making thoughtful, informed choices that reflect both your intellect and integrity, both at work and at home... any tips on how you do it?
