Healthy Governance
Do you sit on a not-for-profit, statutory authority or SME board that could do with a refresher on governance?
Is your board not working to its full potential? Do you need some help to get everyone on the same page? Does your board need an applied learning opportunity to understand what you do know and where you might need some more help?
Healthy Governance offers flexible options to strengthen your board's effectiveness. Choose from a comprehensive one-day workshop, personalised coaching for individual directors, an independent board self-assessment, or a thorough review of your governance documents.
The Workshop: Your board will be guided through a series of sessions and activities to explore contemporary governance using best practice resources and real-world stories. Sessions can include topics such as roles and responsibilities, board composition and succession, board culture, performance evaluation, CEO relationships, governance tools, and risk management.
Beyond the Workshop: For deeper support, Lucy offers one-on-one coaching tailored to individual director needs, a comprehensive board self-assessment which provides an X-ray view of your governance strengths and blind spots, and expert review of key documents like your board charter and skills matrix.
Lucy will help your board explore legal and ethical responsibilities and understand how these impact performance around the board table.
All offerings are respectful, inclusive, informative and fun, whilst providing clear and practical guidance. Lucy supports each director to 'lean into' their natural abilities to become inquisitive and effective directors in ways that feel comfortable for them and benefit the organisation.
