What if we didn’t wait until the end to ask: “Did it work?”

As I sit here developing a new Evaluation Framework for a proactive program, I keep wondering: What if we didn’t wait until the end to ask: “Did it work?”

With multiple funders, different KPIs, and competing timeframes, evaluation can feel overwhelming. But that’s exactly why a clear, structured framework matters.

An Evaluation Framework brings order to the chaos. It sets out what will be measured, how, when, and by whom, so evaluation becomes a strategic tool, not just a compliance task.

It supports:
✔️ Smarter, evidence-informed decisions
✔️ Efficient use of resources
✔️ Accountability across diverse stakeholders
✔️ Continuous learning and adaptation
✔️ A clear demonstration of impact and value

Because I reckon real change comes not just from doing the work, but from learning as we do it.
