Do you trust me?
Would you trust me if we were working on a board together? Does this mean we will always like each other and always agree? Hopefully the answer to the first two questions is yes (for those of you who know me) but the answer to the final question is likely to be No.
Launceston Show Day
Launceston Show Day, which falls on the second Thursday in October, marks an annual tradition in my life. It's the green light to start my vegetable garden π . You see, it's a well-known rule in Northern Tasmania that you can safely plant your veggies after Show Day to avoid the risk of frosts.
Impact Networks
Itβs not often that I receive a book in the mail and read the first 30 pages over my morning cup of tea (actually never)β¦. but this week it happened and I was so engaged in what I was reading the kids were late for school
Is physical activity good for you?
sk me ask me ππ»βοΈ YES is the answer. Do we need to prove it anymore? I would argue NO. We donβt need to prove it is good for you, but what we do need to do, is help communities find the best ways to support their people to be active.
Recently I have been thinking about energy.
During this time of year, I notice a slight decrease in my energy levels, and I often attribute it to the weather. The cold and darkness make me feel unmotivated. However, even on the frostiest mornings in Tassie, I try to shift my thinking and consider what drives my energy. In the past month or so we have been doing LOTS of workshops. These are workshops with passionate and motivated people all wanting to make a change somewhere in their lives, their organisation or their community.
